Subspecies Comes Back From the Dead at Action Lab!

Back in the day(the 90's) I was a HUGE fan of Full Moon's low-budget direct-to-video series like Puppet Master, Trancers, Castle Freak, and and many more. I loved their VideoZone featurette at the end of the films that brought the kind of extras to the VHS movies that would become a staple of DVDs and Blu-Rays years later.

But there was one series I loved above all others. Subspecies!

The story of the vampire Radu Vladislas, portrayed by the awesome Anders Hove, and his never-ending efforts to turn Michelle Morgan into his fledgling.

The subspecies movies ran from 1991 to 1998 and consisted of five films and a spinoff...and every year I hoped for another installment. As time passed the likelihood of another film being made sadly grew less and less.

A few years back I noticed Action Lab had gotten the chance to make comics off of some of Full Moon's properties. My pull list was pretty full already and they didn't have my favorite...until now!
