For some reason I'm seeing the image of a ship hitting an iceberg and a bunch of rats jumping off the ship, only its not really an iceberg but instead a series of terribly written legacy characters and event stories and the ship is actually a comic book company and the rats are comic book writers whose books sell below effing Mister Miracle now.

Everyone settle down. Bendis isn't my favorite writer, but from DC's perspective it's all about sales, which is understandable. Say what you want about him, he has sold a lot of books over the years. That's what this is about. I respect that.

I can see Bendis doing The Question, or maybe Teen Titans. If he can bring 1\10th of what did with Ultimate Spider Man, Daredevil, Powers or Jessica Jones I'm a happy camper.

This is the best news to come out of Marvel in years

This is good news for Marvel, although it's probably too little, too late, due to the damage Bendis already did. It's a nightmare for DC.

Bendis can write solid stories as long as DC keeps him in check. If they give him free reign, all hell will break loose.

Good riddance! I feel like he has been a big contributor to the ruination of Marvel Comics starting with "Avengers Dissassembled" onwards. One of the reasons I largely stopped getting comics.

Fine with me, the only recent work he's done that I've really enjoyed was Jessica Jones related. Once Miles came to 616 his book has been a bore, and Civil War 2 was a mess.Not to mention he doesn'tt care about continuity in the slightest not even his own continuity so bye bye Bendis. Can DC take Axel Alonso as well? Marvel could really use a new Editor-in-Chief as well.

That beins said maybe he'll work better at DC maybe they'll actually hone him in and their editors will actually do their job and fix mistakes.
