I'm putting this here because of a lot of the comments Bendis makes regarding the franchises direction... actually a good read.

It was a good read.
The most relevant part for me:
Marvel.com: Who of the X-Men will be hit the hardest by the contents of this document, both good and bad?
Brian Michael Bendis: Almost everybody, particularly the major players and the ones with the longest relationships with Charles. And also, they haven’t really had time to mourn his passing. It’s just been chaos since AvX, so this is a moment where they are dealing with each other, because this is also one of those wills where the family has to get together and they’re not speaking. And now this family that’s got major issues are forced to sit in a room together and do this thing that they don’t want to do, so there’s that extra added bonus. But the original X-Men, and I’m not talking about the All New X-Men who are here from the past, but Scott and Bobby, who have been in the house since they were kids, this is hitting them the hardest.

We saw some interesting moments between Scott and Bobby around the start of Schism, but most of that got way overshadowed by the Cyclops/Wolverine eternal conflict. I'd have liked to have seen Schism be more between the two of them, with one holding to the path of Xavier and the other largely abandoning it. Bobby wold have made far more sense to have taken the opposite position from Scott instead of Wolverine with reopening the school. It was great to see Wolverine approach Bobby first about that as a nod to that importance, but maybe with Wolverine 'dead' for a bit, Iceman can take some of that opposite position. Make it more of a difference in ideologies instead of another front in the Cyclops/Wolverine pissing match. I think one of the reasons we've yet to see an effective counterbalance to Cyclops' position is because Wolverine is the wrong one to make it.
They did say there would be even more fracturing and factionalizing after the will...
I know, I'm getting my hopes up for nothing, again...
