We won't have the full numbers from Comichron until probably Monday. That's a HUGE jump, similar to Deadpool's...but then I remembered, in addition to the Legacy Lenticular Variant, Iceman #6 also had a 1 in 10 headshot variant(for a total of three different covers) and those crazy ordering requirements(see below) for retailers to get any of the lenticuar covers. Deadpool required retailers order 175% of what they ordered of Deadpool #34 to qualify for the lenticular covers of The Despicable Deadpool #287. Likewise retailers had to order 150% of what they ordered of Iceman #3 to qualify for the lenticular covers of Iceman #6. Mind you, that's ordering that much of the regular covers...to even qualify to be able to order the variants on top of all that. You can seen why there were so many retailer complaints and some retailers declaring they would not be getting ANY of the lenticular covers as a result.
Significant drop on the next issues of the twice-monthly Marvel books. Deadpool goes from 6 to 68, Venom goes from 12 to 96.
I expect a lot of retailers are stuck with plenty of surplus issues, especially given the feedback from some retailers on BC. I also expect Iceman's sales numbers will be back to about where they were by the next issue.
